About My Aromatherapy
In 2004 I trained as an Aromatherapist, qualifying with a diploma in aromatherapy and essential oil science with Neal’s Yard Remedies. Prior to this I had experienced a huge amount of pain and discomfort with a disc injury in my lower back. The powerful and profound effects the essential oils had on me both physically and emotionally were astounding. The pain eased hugely with soft flowing massage techniques and the use of hot and cold compresses. I have taken my own first hand experience of pain combined with my thorough training to improve the wellbeing of my clients in a deeply profound way.
As a practitioner, I believe that the quality of the massage experience lies in my attention to even the finest details – the purest oils and organic products (Neal’s Yard Remedies and Materia Aromatica), a heated couch, warm towels. I have a deep understanding of the blending of oils for each client’s specific needs and this knowledge, allied with my massage technique, will make you feel calm, restored and recharged.
As a healer I work very intuitively with my clients energy field and can get a real sense for what is going on for each client, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Over the last 20 years I have continued to expand my knowledge of massage and other techniques by doing further training in Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Natural Facelift, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage to name but a few.
